This episode Liam talks with friend of the show Dr. Tyler Shipley about the past week’s apocalyptic shenanigans.
They start in Latin America, where Venezuela is gripped by a so-called food shortage, and Brazil’s working class have held a general strike in response to what many see as an illegal government’s proposed austerity measures. Then, we shift over to North Korea, where Trump’s sabre-rattling has turned the Mutually Assured Destruction up to 11.
Dr. Shipley and I explore the misconceptions and media biases driving the North American narrative of these conflicts. Could socialism be the culprit?
That’s a rhetorical question by the way. Fuck no.
